Start with what we have shipped

Most studio sites open with a list of services. Here is a list of products instead, because a service list is a promise and a product is evidence.

We have built and we still operate ten of our own products. Seven of them have a case study on this site, and each one describes the architecture, the constraints and at least one thing that went wrong:

• Vendwa - an autonomous sales agent on the WhatsApp Cloud API, operated by our Ghana entity
• Geotally - a six-engine brand-mention tracker, live on the App Store and on the web
• PadiRent - rent software for Ghanaian landlords, web and iOS
• FixAm - a service marketplace with SMS-verified reviews
• BDShield - twelve WordPress plugins on one architecture
• XWipe - bulk deletion against a rate-limited platform API
• Toivo - a property developer's site, rebuilt in Next.js

Every one of those is in production and takes real traffic. We fix them when they break, which is a different relationship with code than shipping and invoicing.

Who we are

Two registered companies, and it is worth being specific about which is which.

BestDid Technology Ltd is registered in Ghana, company number CS067190426, and operates from Accra. It is the entity behind Vendwa and the one that contracts for Ghanaian work.

BestDid Technology LLC is registered in Delaware, file number 10668229, and operates from Los Angeles, California. It handles US contracts and the US-facing products.

There is no account management layer, no delivery team, and nobody between you and the person writing the code. The Director takes the first call and stays on the project. That is a real limit on how much work we can hold at once, and it is the reason a small studio is worth talking to at all.

What we build

Four things, in roughly the order we do them well.

Web applications. Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres. The kind of application that has accounts, permissions, money moving through it and an admin side that somebody has to use every day.

Mobile applications. React Native with Expo, shipped to the App Store and Google Play. We have taken apps through review, been rejected, and got them approved. That experience is worth more than the code.

WordPress. Twelve plugins in production, including a licence server we host and an auto-updater running on customer sites. If you have a WordPress estate that has grown past what a page builder can hold, we know that terrain.

AI integration. Tool-use agents where the model calls your code, rather than a chat box glued to a marketing site. The Vendwa case study is the honest version of what that costs and what it gets wrong.

What we decline

Two things, so nobody wastes a call.

We do not do brochure sites priced against a template. There are people in Accra who will do that faster and cheaper than us, and they should.

We do not take work we cannot support afterwards. If a project needs a team of eight and a two-year runway, we are the wrong shop and we will say so in the first conversation.

How an engagement works

A call first, and it is free. Half an hour on what you are trying to do. Some of these end with us pointing you at software that already exists rather than quoting for a build.

Then a written scope with a fixed price. Not an hourly estimate that drifts. If the scope turns out to be wrong, we say so and reprice rather than absorbing it quietly and cutting corners.

Then the build, in visible pieces. You see working software early and often. Nothing is held back for a reveal at the end, because a reveal at the end is how projects go wrong without anyone noticing until it is too late to change course.

Then support, on a stated arrangement. We keep our own products running, and we will keep yours running on the same terms.

Working with a studio this size

The obvious comparison is an offshore development firm, and the honest version of that comparison has two halves.

They win on capacity. A two-hundred-person shop can put six engineers on your project next Monday and we cannot. If your project needs that, take it to them.

We win on the part that usually goes wrong. You brief the person who writes the code, so nothing is lost in a handover. When something breaks at 9pm in Accra it is 9pm for us too, not the start of a queue. And the work in the case studies above is ours end to end, including the bugs, which is a claim you can check by reading them.

Common questions

Do you work with clients outside Ghana? Yes. US contracts run through BestDid Technology LLC. Ghanaian contracts run through BestDid Technology Ltd.

Can you take over an existing codebase? Sometimes. We will read it first and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or worth replacing. A rewrite quoted before anyone has read the code is a guess.

Do you do design as well as engineering? Yes, and every product in the list above was designed here. We do not do brand identity work as a standalone service.

How long does a first project take? The smallest useful thing we have shipped for a client took weeks. A product like the ones above takes months. We will give you a range on the first call and a fixed number in the scope.
